A 1980s classic, originally designed for running, the new Nike Air Vortex shoe release has been reimagined into a modern day streetwear style, constructed from a mix of durable textile fabric and smart synthetic leather. Seen here with black textured uppers and contrast white outsoles, the hints of praline suede elevate the style and add neutral colour pops that complement the colour of the rubber tread and foam midsole. A signature amongst Nike Air styles is the supportive heel unit, added to increase comfort and reduce the feel of heavy impacts. A padded ankle collar adds to the level of cushioning, as does the supportive tongue panel. Detailing has been kept fairly minimal, keeping attention on the shaped panelling, the heel tab features embossed Nike Air text and the tongue has a branded woven label alongside the signature Nike swoosh, which has been added subtly onto both side panels.

The re-release of Nike Air Vortex models has seen the release of some fresh new styles, with a focus on colour pops and subtle fabric layering, these styles bring back the original 1980s silhouette and have new signature Nike Air tech running through, the best of both worlds.
